Don't
think about it, just get out there
Are you having trouble finding
motivation to exercise once you get home from
work? Or find yourself putting it off all day
until finally there is no time left to fit it
in? Do you dread the thought of sweating, getting
out of breath or having to train for an hour,
so you keep putting it off?
There are tricks in getting
yourself out there, without, thinking about
it, once you begin your session the adrenaline
will kick in and get you through. It's just
those first steps... Once you are out there
you have already taken steps to getting fitter,
faster, lighter and stronger, every step helps.
Here's some tips to get out
there with out thinking:
Have your gear already laid
out ready to put on; shoes, socks, everything
you will need. So as soon as you jump out of
bed they are there you just get straight into
them and off you go.
Take your gear to work and before
you leave put it on don't sit around thinking
about changing just change, so on your way
home you are already in your gear, so you
might as well train.
Organise to meet someone at
a particular location at a particular time,
don't call each other before hand, just meet
at that time, it's too easy to make an excuse
if you talk about it.
If you cant face going out side
roll out of bed and onto your bedroom floor
and begin to stretch lightly, turn the tv on,
if you have a favorite dvd get it on and start
to jog on the spot, keep going until the end
of a scene then sit on the floor and do a few
sit ups or have a stretch until the next scene,
jog again. See now you are doing it... taking
steps to achieving your goals, be proud. Every
step is a step closer to achieving and improving.
